CubaDupa | Multimedia

My team and I were tasked to re-brand Wellington's culture craze CubaDupa. Open to anything; we looked into what embodied the festival, from the people to the streets to the music. Our identity focused on the unexpected and the bold, drawing on what it means to be alive.

We played on patterns and movement for the logo, building on these patterns with bright and bold colours throughout the rest of the brand. A key feature was the installation pieces, tunnels of mirrors that would reflect the crazy patterns of the festival, to immerse people into the feeling entirely.
